专利说明:
[0001] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The invention relates to a protective helmet comprising a neckband. State of the art Protective helmets are for example used in mountaineering or climbing to serve as protection in case of falling rocks or head shock. They are therefore part of the essential equipment for climbers and mountaineers. Since mountaineering or climbing equipment is cumbersome, it is best to keep it as compact as possible. This is particularly true for the use of protective helmets in the community, which become difficult to transport if they are not stacked on top of each other. In practice, the superposition of helmets used in community is not easy because they include neckrests that often exceed the caps of the protective helmets and prevent their correct stacking. This is for example the case for the Elios helmet (first generation, fixed hothouse) marketed under the brand Petzl by the plaintiff. The first generation of the Elios helmet was equipped with a fixed and non-adjustable headband, preventing stacking of the helmets on top of each other. In the second generation, the Elios helmet with an adjustable neckband can be stacked as long as it is kept to a minimum. However, stacking is done to the detriment of the adjustments made, which causes either a loss of time for the monitor who has to adjust the equipment for each use, or a wrong use of the helmet at the risk of poorly protect the user in case of shock . [0002] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION An object of the invention is to provide a protective helmet configured to allow easy and secure storage with other protective helmets. [0003] For this purpose, the protective helmet comprises a cap having a front portion and an occipital portion comprising an internal occipital portion, a neckband having an internal face intended to be in contact with the head of a user, and hinge means configured to allow passage of the neckband from a use position to a storage position of the protective helmet. In storage position, the neck band is folded in the occipital portion of the cap so that the inner face of the neck band is vis-à-vis the occipital portion of the inner cap. [0004] Furthermore, the neckband can be made of a deformable material while being able to regain its original shape. According to one aspect of the invention, the position of use and the storage position can both be stable positions of the neckband, the effort to provide to pass the neckband from a stable position to the another that can go through a maximum. [0005] The protective helmet may also include locking means configured to maintain the neckband in the storage position. According to one embodiment, the hinge means can be adapted to constrain the neckband to position itself stably only in the use position and in the storage position of the protective helmet. Furthermore, the hinge means may comprise at least one hinge whose first part is connected to the neck-band. At least one of the hinges may comprise a second part fixed on the cap or on a headband, the second part being mounted in pivot connection with the first part. When the hinge means comprise two hinges, the latter can be provided with a second part in pivot connection with the first parts, the axes of the two pivot links being concurrent. According to one aspect of the invention, the protective helmet comprises means for adjusting the height of the neckband protruding outside the cap. The helmet may also include means for adjusting the neckband protruding outside the cap so as to adapt to the head of the user. The adjustment means may for example comprise at least one elastic strap, or a strap and a device for adjusting the length of the strap. [0006] The invention also relates to a method for storing at least two protective helmets as described above, the method comprising the following steps: placing the neckband of at least one of the protective helmets in the position storage, - stack at least one of the protective helmets on at least one of the other protective helmets. [0007] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Other advantages and features will emerge more clearly from the following description of particular embodiments of the invention given by way of nonlimiting example and represented in the accompanying drawings, in which: FIG. perspective view of an embodiment of a protective helmet comprising a neckband in the use position, FIG. 2 illustrates the storage position of the neckband according to the embodiment of FIG. 3a and 3b show the protective helmet positioned on the head of two different users. [0008] Detailed Description Figures 1 and 2 show a protective helmet 1 having a cap 2 made of a material preventing it from folding on itself. [0009] The cap 2 can be made for example of injected polycarbonate or ABS or polystyrene or expanded polypropylene, or any other plastic material, in particular injected plastic, thermoformed or mouse. The cap 2 has a front portion located at the front, that is to say near the user's forehead, and an occipital portion located at the rear. The inner occipital portion 2a is located at the neck when the helmet 1 is used. The protective helmet 1 is preferably equipped with a neckband 3, advantageously made of a deformable material while being able to recover its original shape, such as polyamide, polyoxymethylene or polyethylene. The neckband 3 has an inner face 3a intended to be in contact with the head of a user, and an outer face 3b (see Figures 1 and 2). [0010] The protective helmet 1 may also be provided with a headband 4. The neckband 3 and the headband 4 allow a better adjustment of the position of the protective helmet 1 by pressing on the neck of a user . However, we can consider that the headband 4 is not present. The protective helmet 1 is advantageously provided with jugular straps 5 for fixing the helmet 1 on the head of the user. The jugular straps 5 are fixed to the cap 2 or the head 4 and advantageously pass through the neckband 3. The role of the jugular straps 5 is to ensure the contact between the nape of the user and the inner face of the greenhouse -nuque 3a when using the protective helmet 1. The protective helmet 1 advantageously comprises a foam padding shell (not shown), housed inside the cap 2 and directly in contact with the head of the 'user. The cap 2 may also be provided with ventilation holes (not shown) to improve the comfort of the user. The neckband 3 is advantageously movable with respect to the cap 2 and with respect to the headband 4, and has two advantageously stable positions: a first position corresponding to a position of use of the protective helmet 1 (see FIG. ), and a second position corresponding to a storage position of the protective helmet 1 (see Figure 2). [0011] In the first position, the neckband 3 protrudes out of the volume delimited by the cap 2. On the other hand in the second position, the neckband 3 is folded inside the volume delimited by the cap 2, and more precisely in the occipital portion of the cap 2, so that the inner face 3a of the neckband 3 is vis-à-vis the inner occipital portion 2a of the cap 2. So that the neckband 3 can change position , the protective helmet 1 is advantageously provided with articulation means 6. These articulation means 6 may advantageously comprise pivot connections such as hinges. The hinges can be made in one piece that can bend along an axis with less material than the rest of the hinge, similarly to a plug valve. [0012] The hinges can also be made using several parts connected to each other by means of a connecting rod. The hinge is then analogous to a door stud. [0013] The hinge means 6 are able to force the neckband 3 to position itself stably in the use position or in the storage position. According to a particular embodiment, these two positions may be the only two stable positions in which the neckband 3 can be placed. These two stable positions are then separated by unstable positions that will place the neckband 3 is in the storage position or in the use position. The protective helmet 1 may for example comprise two joints 6. In the embodiment illustrated in the accompanying figures, the hinge means 6 are advantageously hinges having a first portion connected to the end of the neckband 3, and a second part connected for example to the headband 4. Alternatively, the hinges could include a second portion fixed on the cap 2. It is also possible to combine these embodiments. [0014] The first and second parts of each hinge of the hinge means 6 are advantageously mounted in pivot connection with respect to one another. When the hinge means 6 comprise two hinges, the axes of the pivot links are advantageously concurrent. In this way, by elastic deformation of the neckband 3, the latter can move from the use position to the storage position. These two positions are then the only two stable positions of the neckband 3. [0015] Depending on the configuration employed, a compressive stress or a tensile stress is applied to the neckband 3 to switch from one position to another. To be able to pass from the first position to the second position, and conversely, the effort to be provided passes through a maximum. The effort depends mainly on the type of material used to make the neckband 3 and the position of the two hinges relative to the cap 2 and / or the headband 4 according to where they are fixed. Indeed, the higher the rigidity of the material of the neckband 3, the more difficult it is to move it from the first position to the second position. As regards the position of the hinges, two factors must be taken into account: the distance between them and the angle formed by the axes of the pivot connections. Thus, it is all the more difficult to pass the neckband 3 from one position to another that the hinges are placed close to each other and that the angle between the axes is small. The neckband 3 thus has a hard point which is a function of the shape, the dimensions and the type of material used. [0016] When there is no intrinsic stable position to the neckband 3, it may be envisaged to use locking means (not shown) of the neckband 3 in the storage position. The locking means may for example be magnets, clips, hook-and-loop closures of the Velcro® type, etc. The locking means may also be used as additional support when the storage position is a stable position of the neckband 3. As shown in Figures 3a and 3b, the shape of the head may differ depending on the age and size of the user. It may therefore be advantageous to adjust the height of the neckband 3 protruding outside the cap 2 of the protective helmet 1. For this purpose, an advantageous embodiment of the protective helmet 1 may comprise means configured to adjust the position or size of the neckband 3. [0017] For example, the neckband 3 may be formed in two parts connected by adjustment means such as a rack. One of the parts comprises notches separated by a slot, while the other part comprises a pad adapted to move inside the slot. The movement of the stud in the slot then makes it possible to lengthen or shorten the length of the neckband 3. Alternatively, the neckband 3 may comprise two parts connected by an elastic strap. For this, one of the parts has an elastic strap terminated by a stud at one end, and the other strand has a series of holes inside which the stud can be inserted. In these two alternative embodiments, the two parts of the neckband 3 overlap more or less, but they are never distant, otherwise the effectiveness of the protective helmet 1 in case of shock would be reduced. According to an alternative embodiment, the neckband 3 may be formed in a single portion connected to both ends of the headband 4, at least one of the two ends of the headband 4 being provided with adjustment means. [0018] The adjustment means are then configured to slide at least one of the ends of the neckband 3 inside the protective helmet 1, so that the portion of the neckband 3 protruding is lower. In this case, at least one of the joints 6 can be positioned on the neckband 3. [0019] In the protective helmets of the prior art, the neckband 3 is a brake on the correct stacking of the protective helmets 1 when the neckband 3 is held in a given position. To stack the helmets 1, it is necessary to increase to the maximum the overall diameter of the neckband 3 and thus to remove the adjustments made by the users. In addition this stack is less stable and can damage the neckband 3. [0020] Here, it is not necessary to remove the settings made during use to be able to store helmets 1 without risk of damage. It suffices to pass the neckband 3 from the use position to the storage position by means of the hinged means 6. In the context of an individual use, the user is assured of the qualities of his helmet. protection 1 and no longer needs to adjust it for each new use. [0021] For use in community, the monitor can make the settings of the helmets 1 once and for all to force users to position the neckband 3. It can also stack the helmets very easily by placing each neckband 3 in storage position. The invention is not limited to the features just mentioned. The person skilled in the art can, without departing from the scope of the invention, adjust the position and the number of joints 6 in order to adapt it to his needs.
